Deformity in the great toe causing pain. Can be caused by flat feet, high heeled shoes, injury and is also hereditary.
Is an inflammation of the nerve that runs in between the toes. Often experiencing numbness, sharp shooting pain in to the toes and up the foot. Described as walking on a pebble. Can be caused by tight shoes, high heeled shoes, trauma and foot deformities to name of view. Most often it is in between 3rd and 4th toe.
Sports that have a lot of starts and stops like soccer and basketball are often factors in creating this pain. Reducing activity level and taping techniques have been proven to help reduce the pain in the great toe. Anti-inflammatories will help reduce the swelling and pain.
